Quick Start Guide

Welcome to TackOn! Get up and running in under 5 minutes.

What You'll Do

  1. Create your first fee rule
  2. Configure the widget
  3. Enable it on your store
  4. Test at checkout

Step 1: Create a Fee Rule

From the TackOn dashboard:

  1. Click Create Rule
  2. Name it (e.g., "Gift Wrapping")
  3. Choose fee type:
    • Fixed — Flat amount ($5.00)
    • Percentage — Cart percentage (2.5%)
    • Combined — Both ($0.30 + 2.9%)
  4. Set the amount
  5. Click Save

Step 2: Configure the Widget

Go to Settings → Widget:

  1. Set a title ("Add Gift Wrapping")
  2. Add a description
  3. Choose default state (checked/unchecked)
  4. Pick a template
  5. Save

Step 3: Enable on Your Theme

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes
  2. Click Customize
  3. Navigate to the Cart page
  4. Click Add block
  5. Select TackOn Widget
  6. Position and save

Step 4: Test

  1. Add a product to cart
  2. Check the widget appears
  3. Toggle the fee on/off
  4. Complete checkout
